About the project:
Incubion is a growing startup providing public testing, prototyping, and business/design consultancy in the field of service robotics. Our mission is to enable sustainable ecosystems where humans & robots can coexist in harmony.
We are currently working on a new project to increase robot literacy in society. The panorama for robotic solutions still remains limited and unavailable. We aim to create an information platform that enables the democratization of robot knowledge, and that promotes a dialogue between robot providers, robot seekers, and potential users.
We look for an energetic, innovative, and highly motivated person to support the world-changing information service for robots to be materialized.
Responsibilities:
- Leading development and execution of building the multi-sided web application
- Address clear user problems for needs relevant to robot seekers and providers. Identify solutions that could optimize/improve user experience, and build user-centric goals for features in;
- overall frond-end website design
- database design that could effectively support the contents management system
- internal tooling
- Work with the team and external developers to negotiate decisions about required specs and tradeoffs to meet goals and help drive the resolution of high-priority issues
- Create and update project plans for the development and implementation process and track progress to keep the project moving forward on schedule
- Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with engineers, designers, and top management
- Support implementation of user research partner with UX designers
- Project manage the development and implementation processes

Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with front-end development of multi-side platform web services
- Familiarity with the different aspects of web service development: planning, specification, development, QA, delivery, and maintenance
- Experience in project management including resource and budget management
- Ability to make decisions based on facts and to explain the rationale logically
- Excellent Japanese verbal and written skills to communicate smoothly with people of different backgrounds
- Experience collaborating with development, marketing, and design
- Authorized to work in Japan
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in operation and maintenance of multi-side platform web services
- Understanding of UX design and/or service design processes
- Capable of using prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Asure, Figma
- Fluent in English
What we offer
- Annual salary range – 4.5M – 8M JPY. Based on skills and experiences
- Work Hours – Regular working hours: 10-18h, 1-hour break. Flexible working hours available. Discuss at interview.
- Paid Holiday – 10 days per year (prorated)
