Now, let robot trolley to carry your baggage in Paris!

French national railway company SNCF (Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français) is running robot test-run in stations in Paris.  The public experiment to let robots work almost autonomously among moving travelers will be remarkable step to expand real-use opportunity.

    • When:  Currently being tested (reported as of 22 Feb, 2016)
      *It is officially said, the test will start from March 1, at Lyon, May at Est. and Valence TGV station
    • Where:
      • Baggage carrier (Effibot) : Paris Est. Station, Paris (map)
      • Cleaner (Swingobot) :  Lyon Station, Paris (map
      • Cleaner (made by IciMontreuil) :Montparnasse Station (map
      • Cleaning Drone : Valence TGV station (map)
    • Robots:
      • Effibot, by Effidence :  autonomous/manual trolly  
      • Swingobot, by Intellibot : automated scrubber already used in Houston airport (TX), Pentagon, USA
      • Cleaner (Name unknown) by Veymont Technology: washer-outfielder robot (drone) cleaning the height windows and removing spider webs
