国際ロボット展2022において住友重機械工業と京都のスタートアップKeiganの自律移動ロボット『Keigan ALI』の魅力を伝えるデモンストレーションの設計を行いました。
限られた空間でダイナミックな環境変化を実現しロボットにリアルタイムに適応させることで、製品の魅力である”柔軟な即応性”や”操作の容易さ”を表現。デモの各シーンで人間とロボットがやりとりする様子を実演し、協調性の高さを説得力を持ってアピールしました。
また、近い将来に活用が期待される複数のシーンをイラストレーションで提示。来場者にあえて発想を補う余地を残し「もしかしてうちでも使えるかもしれない」と思わせる工夫により、説明員への声かけを促していました。
製品の機能や技術のみを伝えるのではなく、ロボットと共に働くことの価値や可能性を、見る人が能動的に考えはじめるよう心を動かすこと重点を置いた実演デザインです。

At International Robot Exhibition 2022, Incubion provided a design of demonstration for Keigan ALI, an autonomous mobile robot developed by Keigan Inc. and newly-released from Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd.
The unique scenario to make the robot adapt to dynamic environmental change, effectively showed the flexibility and usability of the robot. Scenes included interaction with humans proved the robot could collaborate well in working environments.
We displayed multiple illustrations that visualized potential use-cases of the robot. They are designed to invoke the imagination of visitors so that visitors can start picturing scenes with robots in their situations.
The demonstration and exhibition was designed to invite viewers to engage in a dialogue with staff to deepen their understanding of the values of working with robots, beyond spec and capabilities.
