社会実証実験の効果検証

愛知県が主催するサービスロボット社会実装推進事業 あいちロボットトランスフォーメーション (AICHI ROBOT TRANSFORMATION) の効果検証アドバイザーとして、公開実証実験のレビューを行いました。
スポーツ施設や農場、病院や商業施設など、実際に一般の方が利用する環境下でサービスロボットを稼働させるこの取り組み。人や環境とロボットとの関わり方を第三者視点で観察しながら、現場にロボットを導入する場合の課題や新たな使い方の可能性などを検証しました。
また、参加したロボットメーカー/ベンダーだけでなく、実際にロボットを体験した施設やユーザーへもヒアリングを実施。今後の実証に向けた改善点を関係者にフィードバックしました。
愛知県では2022年度も本事業を継続。効果的な実証実験の実現に向けてincubionも引き続き関わっていきます。

実験内容を決める前に、ユーザー側施設とロボットメーカー/ベンダー全員が同席するミーティングを設定。実験に対する期待や要望を共有することで、社会実証が互いに知らないことを学び合う機会であるという共通認識を持ち、対等にコミュニケーションできる関係作りの土台となりました。
Environment | 環境づくり
参加した施設の皆さんへの実証後ヒアリングでは「設備的な部分も変えていかないとスムーズには運用できない」「ソフト（施設運営）面にも課題が見つかった」等、ロボットを受け入れる環境整備の観点での気づきを得る機会にもなったことが伺えました。
Incubion was invited to Aichi Robot Transformation, an initiative to promote service robot implementation, as a robot-experience expert to review and assess public experiments with robots.
We had a first-hand experience of a variety of service robots testing in scenes, such as at a succor stadium, a farm, a hospital, and a commercial complex. For each robot, we examined human-robot interaction, compatibility with the given infrastructure, and fit the social context to identify issues and potentials.
Interviews from both the user-side and the robot-provider-side helped all stakeholders to discover areas for improvements for future tests.
Incubion continues to support Aichi Pref’s initiative to achieve collaboration of human and service robots.
Awareness | 人づくり
We aimed to build an equal relationship that overcomes information asymmetry between users(venues) and robot providers. At the beginning of the project, we set up a meeting to share expectations and requests by both parties, to have a common ground that the testing is an opportunity to learn from each other.
Environment | 環境づくり
In the post-testing interview, participants in venues commented on the necessity of changes in both infrastructure and human operation. The awareness of the robot-compatible environment has increased through the experience.
